ACE: Award Application Guidelines

CATEGORIES
The ACE Awards are open to
all Canadian publications, with awards being presented in two divisions,
Consumer and Trade. Each submission should be marked as
one of the following categories:
- CONSUMER - Renewal, Billing or Donor Renewal Effort/Series
- CONSUMER - Direct
Mail, New Gift, Co-op, FSI or Alternative Media Promotion
- CONSUMER - In-Book Promotion
- CONSUMER - Online
- CONSUMER - Retail
- CONSUMER - Other
- TRADE -
Renewal, Requalification, Conversion or Invoice Effort/Series
- TRADE -
Direct Mail Promotion
- TRADE -
In-Book Promotion
- TRADE -
Online
- TRADE -
Retail
- TRADE -
Other
The purpose of the Other
category is to allow inclusion of non-traditional entries.
The judges may choose to present
"Achievement Awards" to entries in the Other category
and they are not limited in number.
ENTRY FEE
CMC Members: No charge
Non-CMC Members: $30 per entry
Please include cheque payable
to CMC with entries.
ENTRY INFORMATION
Deadline:
May 12, 2008
Please include six samples
of each entry for our judges.
Each sample is required to
have the following information attached:
Entry Information:
- Company
- Contact name, phone number,
email address
- Circulation, Creative, and
Vendor contributions
- Applicable category for
entry
In ten lines or less, please
outline your strategic objectives (what you hoped to achieve
with this creative). Include samples (6) of the control piece when relevant
for comparison. Background information such as distribution medium.
lists, target audience and campaign timing is very helpful.
In ten lines or less, please
report on the results with reference to objectives, cost, response,
and cost/profit per order. Be clear in expressing numbers. Ensure indexes
are clear and logical. Including cost information is useful.
