We are currently looking to engage a full-time Circulation Sales & Marketing Manager. If you are the best in your field, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Create, present and execute a sales model to meet the circulation objectives of The Globe and Mail;
• Focus on relationships with consultants, vendors, corporate, single copy and home delivery;
• Provide management direction to the sales and marketing team (experience in a unionized environment an asset);
• Managing multiple projects including sales & retention results, expenses & staff development;
• Must be strategic with ability to be tactical when necessary
• Accountable for all sales, acquisition and field marketing initiatives nationally & regionally;
• Utilize research and data analysis to develop unique consumer marketing and sales programs;
• Develop & execute sales programs for Home Delivery and Single Copy sales;
• Develop relationships with corporate and chain clients;
• Create measurable sales statistics for use by Circulation Directors;
• Communicate, manage and implement HR related activities for the circulation sales and marketing team;
• Manage sales results within budget/targets and within strategic plan;
• Responsible for key performance metrics including measurement, analysis and presentation;
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in a related field;
• 8-10 years experience with direct sales or marketing management

Must demonstrate:
• Strong customer orientation and highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Self-evident communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
• Strong project management and time management expertise.
• Well developed skills in the areas of motivating & influencing people.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving experience and skills;
• Solid understanding of direct marketing disciplines; including e-marketing, telesales, direct mail, sales promotions/contests;
• Ability to be creative & resourceful;
• Possesses an understanding of creative messaging and copywriting;
• Proven ability to utilize research, customer/reader profiles and create programs for specific customer segments.

Position: Customer Service / Circulation Supervisor

We are a growing investment company looking to add to our team. We are looking for a working supervisor with a 'Hands on' approach. We offer a small friendly office, free parking near Yonge and Sheppard and a willingness to tailor the job to your strengths.

Ideally, you should have supervision experience and have worked in a circulation department. However, we will train the right person.

Responsibilities include:
· Supervising circulation employees ( 2 to start)
· Answering customer questions by phone and email
· Data entry- order entry, payment processing etc.
· Inventory control - working closely with printers and other suppliers
· Staff training

Candidate requirements:
· Customer service experience, on the phone and by email
· Supervisory experience or potential
· Good problem solving skills
· Detail oriented
· Computer literacy - good with MS office
· Presentable and friendly person who relates well to others at all levels
